So to my understanding An Inherent summon is a special summon that happen after the card effect that special summon that monster successfully resolve Which mean you cannot negate this summon because the summon happen after the effect successfully resolve unless you use a card that said "negate the effect of a card(s) that would special summon a monster(s)"

what got me discouraged from DB was how someone can just cheat or call a judge- it can get really competitive especially with the anonymity people can be brutal and stay on the game for HOURS or make sandwich and it just is not a good basis for building community between players. 1/10

My "bad day deck" has been usually a Floowa deck. Remember that on late limit 1 festival I was tired so I modified my Floowa deck and Many of those lock decks ended rage quitting so fast

I actually went against this exact deck and won with 200LP left over I pulled raigeki used it got negated used magical stone used raigeki again and it cleared his board then I proceeded to summon blue eyes alt dragon use poly to get tyrant on the field using the effect of jet dragon I summoned that onto the field then used the gy effect of abyss dragon giving both 4000 and 4400 atk then attacked with jet dragon returning his mirror force to his hand and tyrant to finish him off

what I beleive it happens, all your cards in deck have ID attached to it the game checks your stats at every chain start and end if nothing changes ( hand, field, grave, banish, extra, lifepoints ) or you keep "shuffling" your deck they force an end to it after a limit is exceeded

so he basically shadow-banned his opponent by keeping him in a infinite loop can't he surrender ?

I currently play a red eyes burn deck but I will not falter from switching to the deck with that card that makes you win in 20 turns

As for the self destruct scenario, the draw rulings back in 2004 was very annoying. I lost in a top 8 regional outside of Louisville, KY due to draw over times. It made me indefinitely dedicate about 10 cards in my side deck to exactly what was describe. Direct dmg cards. My opponent didn't do anything absurdly wrong, he was just playing annoyingly by using what was at the time a retro strat with cards that had piercing like spear dragon. So as you can think when Judges came over and forced overtime rulings it was clearly in the favor of direct dmg or piercing cards. Also the ruling at that time at the regional in 2004 was first blood wins not 4 turns whoever is higher. So an overtime game in 2004 would be won by simply playing a 200 dmg spell card turn one or having a card with piercing attack a set monster. Very very annoying overtime rules at the start of the card game. It was devastating to lose to an overtime ruling of first blood when I knew I had the guy beaten. The guys deck wasn't anything too special. He just got as far as he did because at that time piercers had phased out by about a year, and were advantageous against low stat effect monsters and sheep tokens that were seeing play. He lost swiftly at 6th place after getting first blood on me. Also back in the day I think first blood overtime was used at the regionals because as the day went on they progressively tried to speed up the event. The Tournaments were always so rushing to push everyone out because I don't think they would rent the facilities long enough.

It's why my favorite deck is the Control Eldlich. You arent gonna be able to do JACK and when you are able to...boom...Lava Golem
